Lincoln has appointed Peter Jones as the luxury brand's new interior design manager, a role he will take up within the next few weeks. Jones, who has worked at Ford Australia's design studio for seven years, will report directly to Max Wolff, a former colleague who moved in January 2011 to become Lincoln's Design Director. The Australian designer was interior design manager for the new Ranger and also worked as lead exterior designer on the FG Falcon Ute.
SAIC has released details and images of the production version of its new Roewe 950, which will make its world debut at this month's Beijing International Motor Show. The Roewe 950 will be the flagship product of SAIC's range. The new sedan is the creation of both SAIC Design and Pan Asia Automotive Technology Center (PATAC) and is a substantial reworking of the Buick LaCrosse.

What a difference a year makes – in 2013 Lewis Hamilton was on pole for the Hungarian Grand Prix, but this year, after a car fire in qualifying, Hamilton starts from the pit lane as his team mate, Nico Rosberg, starts from pole in Hungary.
